A dog bite, dog attack, or other animal attack can leave serious scars, both physically and psychologically. In Washington, the animal’s owner is strictly liable for the actions of his/her animal. Stated another way, regardless of fault, the animal’s owner is responsible for your injuries resulting from the animal bite/attack. A claim can be made against the animal or dog owner’s homeowner’s insurance policy or renter’s insurance policy.
